Using the curved grooving tool (Section 6) or the flat grooving tool (Section 7) the procedure shall be the same as prescribed in Sections 6.1 through 6.5 except that the initial amount of water to be added in accordance with Section 6.1 shall be approximately 8 to 10mL and the moisture sample taken in accordance with Section 6.4 shall be taken only for the accepted trial.
