Script for 3d max.. Export brakable objects SA
1. We have model demon.dff (better with NVC)
2. Lets make broken model (pic 1). Dont move subobject like on picture (its just for example)
Very important : WE MUST HAVE MATERIAL FOR EACH PART OF BROKEN MODEL, even if we use just one
texture. So each part have uniq ID number.. (pic 2) Here - Hell Knight have 16 parts
3. Run script exportSectionMeshEXT_v1 (pic 3)... 4 unknown parameters (like in NVC) Select broken model and
press export section... Choose file for save...
4. Better if COL for dynamic objects will contains BOXes and SPHEREs (pic 4)
5. Next we need Steve's RW Analyze. Open demon.dff . Find section 0x253F2FD (pic 5)... RMB -
Import Section Data... select file created by script.... SAVE DFF... Done
6. Now we have to write demon to OBJECT.DAT
; (I) Collision Damage Effect -- got to be 200 or 202
; (J) Special Collision Response Cases -- choose you want
