There is a wide range in modern funeral industry which includes preplan, marketing, hospice care, sadness consulting, the deceased makeup, funeral ceremony, burial, follow-up care, and memorial (Wang and Juan, 2007). The professional characteristics of this industry are ranging from psychological counseling, management consulting, human resources, materials management, to information technology. The funeral industry can be a bridge of connection from “life to death” to settle the deceased, reorganize the living’s network, comfort their sadness, and help solve their panic, so it was positioned as social worker (Wang and Juan, 2007). Therefore, modern funeralindustry becomes “multi-service industry” that lots of multi-professionals were neededto be involved to perform the integrated role of coordination and execution to achievethe purpose of security of the deceased and the living.
