HOLE CLEANING /SWAB PASSHole cleaning operations are undertaken to ensure that the bore is free of drilled cuttings prior to the pipeline installation operation. Hole cleaning will be undertaken using a barrel reamer slightly smaller than the maximum size of the bore.The barrel reamer will be pulled through the bore towards the drilling rig in the same direction as the pipeline installation. Additional drill pipe will be added at pipe side behind the reamer to maintain continuity of drill pie down hole.
