The team’s meetings were observed and videotaped over the course of one school year. During this time, five after-school meetings were scheduled to collaboratively design and develop a S&T curriculum. Though it is likely that the participants also exchanged ideas and experiences during lunch breaks, etc., this study focused only on the meetings specifically organised for the development of a school-based S&T curriculum. In addition, the six participating teachers and school head were interviewed at the end of the project. They were asked to evaluate the project and to indicate future steps that need to be taken for a successful implementation of S&T education at their school.
