I am getting call from tenants complaining about deductions with their first
purchase. As previous communicated were are loading 40 Units for each meter
installation for customer convenience . These units are valued as follow
using City of Windhoek 2019/20 approved prepaid tariffs;

1. Domestic =40kwh * 2.09 N$/kWh = N$83.6 2. Business = 40kwh * 3.07 N$/kWh
= N$122.8

Above amount must first be paid before customer get any units on their
first purchase meaning customer cannot get any units if they make payment
less than or equivalent to above amount. If they pay more , they will only
get the units equivalent to the difference. Once that amount is cleared the
customer will continue to get their full credits

Above arrangements was only done so customer cannot be left without power
immediately after meter installation

Please communicate this clarification to all units owners and their tenants
