Many thanks for your offer, which I will discuss with the author’s estate. I have in the interim received an offer from the publisher who originally licensed these books to extend their license till August 2017 in the short term. They intend to send an offer through to relicense from that date for an additional five years. Let me know whether you are interested in making a counter offer when they do send that offer through. In the meantime I’ll discuss the offer you have sent through with the authors estate and we will let you know what we have decided to do in relation to a future license.
