This paper through questionnaire with students in Chuxiong Normal University, studied the situation of student use micro-blog to assist English study and the enlightenment. College English learning through micro-blog is the newest development orientation for college English learning. Students are able to achieve a great deal of interests in learning English and promote their involvement in activities in order to enhance their English ability and communication skills. the teaching method that teachers apply on micro-blog platform can make up the shortages of classroom teaching.
