Vor mehr als 35 Jahren, im Oktober 1978, wurde Briloner Leuchten gegründet. Die Aufgabe des Unternehmens ist die Herstellung, der Handel und Vertrieb von Wohnraumleuchten aller Art – vom Import-Geschäft bis zur dezentralen Lieferung mit Vollservice.
ZUKUNFTSVERANTWORTUNG HEISST ENERGIEEFFIZIENZ

Briloner bietet ein umfangreiches Sortiment designorientierter Leuchten mit modernsten LED-Technologien und energieeffizienten Eco-Halogen-Konzepten. Die konsequente Weiterentwicklung der Produkte auf hohem technischen Niveau und das Aufspüren von Trends auf den internationalen Beschaffungsmärkten realisiert ein eigenes Design- und Produktentwicklungsteam.

Am Stammsitz Brilon arbeiten heute rund 100 Mitarbeiter/-innen in Vertrieb, Verwaltung, Entwicklung und Logistik. Ausgebildet wird in den Lehrberufen Industriekauffrau/-mann, Bürokommunikation oder Lagerwirtschaft.

Die zentrale Lagerung und die im Sommer 2009 optimierte Kommissionier- und Versandtätigkeit (pick by voice) wird auf einer Fläche von ca. 10.000 m² durchgeführt.

Ein weiterer Produktions- und Logistikbetrieb inklusive einer hochmodernen, vollautomatischen Pulverbeschichtungsanlage liegt im Erzgebirge/Sachsen. Hier arbeiten weitere 50 Mitarbeiter/innen.

Durch zunehmende Internationalisierung und kontinuierlichen Ausbau der Produktpalette verzeichnet Briloner eine äußerst positive Entwicklung.

Das Unternehmensmotto "Leuchten für Menschen" wird konsequent - sowohl nach innen wie auch nach außen - gelebt. Soziales Engagement und nachhaltige Produktions- und Verpackungssysteme sind selbstverständlich.
