’ve been using Trados and Studio for many years now and enjoy being an early adopter (beta tester, in fact). One drawback of being an early adopter of any software is identifying and suffering the inevitable bugs that appear when the software is first released. But, with Studio 2014 I've hardly been affected by bugs; crashes are very, very rare; and there hasn’t been a single file that has refused to save as target in its native format.

As a result I can confirm that it’s a robust program and I can rely on it 100% for all my translations.

New features in Studio 2014? Well, there are lots, but I particularly like:
- Merging multiple files on the fly at any stage in the work process (just to do a word count, to translate several files at once, or to do a quick find&replace in multiple files in an editing job).
- Concordance on a whole segment, which is triggered automatically if a fuzzy match isn’t found.
- The ribbon, because you can just hide it with Ctrl+F1 if you’re familiar with Studio and if you’re not, it’s easier to spot what you’re looking for. Increasing font size, copying source to target, clearing formatting - it’s all there in full view now in the ribbon.

Anything I don’t like?
Yes, I’m not keen on the new alignment tool that replaces Winalign, but I hear it will soon be enhanced to let us edit the alignment results before converting them to sdlxliff format. I’m looking forward to that.
