On the 75 samples of French OSM data, the correlation between the number of contributors and the mean capture date and between the number of contributors and the mean version of the captured object (to assess how much objects are updated) were analyzed. This showed a clear linear increase of the mean date in relation to the number of contributors in the area: the more contributors, the more recent the objects were. The same trend is observed with the mean version of captured objects: the more contributors, the more up-to-date the objects were.
