企业是社会财富的创造者,但其在经营过程中必然要利用社会资源,因而企业不应再将利润作为唯一目标,而应该更多地考虑如何积极地承担起社会责任。企业在谋求经济利益的同时,自觉履行企业社会责任,可以树立良好的社会形象,提高自己产品和服务的声誉,增加企业的无形资产,这无疑有助于企业获得长期的竞争力,实现健康可持续的发展。企业社会责任不仅对企业自身的生存和发展有重要意义,而且对整个社会的进步和发展都有重大意义。改革开放以来,我国中小企业发展迅速,为我国经济发展做出了重要贡献。但如何使中小企业在创造巨大物质财富的同时,自觉承担起应该承担的社会责任,以推动企业、社会、自然的和谐共存与健康发展,已成为我国企业界面临的新的历史性课题。无论是从保证我国中小企业经济效益的需要,还是从完善我国市场经济体制的需要来看,推行企业社会责任都十分必要。
本文根据我国中小企业自身的实际情况,通过对企业社会责任与企业竞争力的关系研究得出结论:企业应该通过承担相应的社会责任来提升企业的竞争力,并就如何提升基于社会责任的竞争力作了初步的探讨。

This article according to our country small and medium-sized enterprise's own actual situation,Based on the corporate social responsibility and competitiveness of enterprises relationship study concluded: the enterprise should pass to assume corresponding social responsibility to enhance the competitiveness of enterprises, and how to enhance the competitiveness based on social responsibility has made the preliminary discussion.
