Errors Corrected in Scors & Parts
Taking the time to correct the known errors in the score and in each individual part before distribution will save an immeasurable amount of frustration and rehearsal time. Lists of errata can often be found in professional journal articles devoted to the preparation of the specific piece. These include These instrumentalist, the long-since discontinued BD Guide, in a number of the chapters found in the Conductors Anthology, and at the conclusion of some of the chapters devoted to many of the large instrumental works found in the GIA senes Teaching Musicianship Through Performance in Orchestra ( and Band ). In addition, such lists exist on various internet sites.
