Treatment-as-usualBoth the intervention and TAU control groups received their usualroutine community mental health care (including medications) andattended medical outpatient appointments as determined by their individual needs. We asked TAU participants to refrain from joining anyLY group or other humour-based formal intervention during the studytime. The RA also asked the participants if they had attended suchsessions during the follow-up assessments.
