Background
Borlänge municipality and Borlänge Energy have since 2000 an ongoing cooperation with municipality of Wuhan and theirs departments. In 2004 Borlänge Energy invited IVL to meet and also be a part of the Swedish team working with Wuhan. After some IVL projects in the Environmental Technology field 2007-2011, IVL had a meeting in April 2013 with Wuhan Sanitation Bureau where two topics in Waste Management was present.
