Ladies and gentlemen LISA!!!! I am sure you have all seen magicians on tv cut their lovely assistant into three. Most of you will know how they did the illusion too. Well folks our version is a little different. And no illusion.... "

Lisa took a bow and stepped up onto the small platform. As usual Matt began the trick with the minimum of additional explanation. Lisa figured a zig zag trick was safe for such a mainstream audience and wondered what Matt would change to liven it up a little. Still striking a pose she watched as Matt carried what seemed to be a small oil drum over to the platform. It was painted baby blue and decorated with flowers and the store's logo and seemed to have a base but no lid. Matt reached up and slid a small tube welded to the side of the drum over the pole allowing it be held in place sliding down, to come to rest about a foot from the floor.

"Lisa?"

Lisa stepped over and took Matt's hand . He flipped open the front third or so of the cylinder like a door and Lisa stepped up and in, turning to face the growing crowd. The drum came up to the top of her thighs and was wide enough for her to stand in with only a little space either side. She had no more idea how the trick would pan out than the audience, but she could guess what was required for now. Matt flicked the door closed then took another cylinder, this one was just a pipe and again threaded a small fitting at the side over the pole and carefully lowered it down over Lisa. This one came up to about level with Lisa's underarms, leaving her torso mostly covered.

A final tube also slid into place down the retaining pole. This one had a top and completed covering Lisa. Still offering no patter, Matt opened the bottom door once more. Holding up a pair of manacles to the crowd he grinned.
