(2) Terminal connection method of voltage probeFig. 15 shows the connection method of the voltage probe to the measurement terminal. The noise power which is transmissible to the vehicle harnesses from each terminal shall be measured with the 50 system measurement conditions based on the ground plane reference. The leading end of the voltage probe is branched only by 50 mm as shown in Fig. 2. Therefore, it is not possible to measure between the two points, whose distance is 50 mm and more, as the characteristics of probe vary. In this connection, it is recommended to carry out measurement in such a way that the characteristics of probe shall not vary in accordance with the connection method in Fig. 15. In such a case, details must be reported in the test report by using pictures and so on.(3) Measurement of terminal not possible to measureIn the case where the shielded wire is connected to the measurement terminal, or where the malfunctions occur when the measuring terminal is connected to the voltage probe, the conducted emission of that measuring terminal shall be measured by the current probe meant for 30 MHz and more instead in accordance with the Section 6.1.(4) Prohibited matters for measurementIn the case where the voltage of the measurement terminal exceeds the certified voltage of the voltage probe, or where it exceeds 42 V, the voltage probe must not be used. The conducted emission of that measuring terminal shall be measured by the current probe meant for 30 MHz and more instead in accordance with the Section 6.1.
