Oral cancer is one of the most common and diagnosed diseases worldwide. Clinically,conventional oral examination and histopathological examination are the two main methods for an early diagnosis of oral cancer. In order to improve the screening procedure, VELscope is one of the oral cancer-screening devices that work on the autofluorescence phenomena. It shows inconsistent results while attempting to differentiate normal, premalignant and malignant lesions. We developed a new method to increase the differentiation accuracy.
