This manuscript reports systemic investigation of supramolecular recognition of inverted CB[6] toward diaminoalkane guests. Considering that inverted CB[6] was very difficult to obtain untill recently authors of this manuscript solved the synthetic challenge, I believe the study carried out in this manuscript is interesting to researchers in the filed of cucurbituril and other synthetic macrocycle hosts. Authors does a good job to analyze the binding stength and binding mode of inverted CB[6] with different guests in acidic solvent, NaCl solution, and solid state. So I recommend the publication of this manuscript in New Journal of Chemistry. Authors still need to proofread this manuscript before publication to correct all the typos.
