Corporate Warehouse Deliveries: Shipping Carton

L.L.Bean requires all merchandise be shipped in corrugated conveyable cartons. All cartons must be top opening RSC (Regular Slotted Containers) and must have a minimum of 200 lbs. (90.9 kg) per square inch Bursting Test or 32 ECT (Edge Crush Test) with a minimum of a "C" flute structure for single wall cartons. Double and triple wall cartons may be required to protect the goods from transportation and handling damage.

All vendors will be required to increase the Burst Test and/or carton construction if cartons are received at our facilities deformed, damaged or crushed.
