One sample of the EESA or accessory provided with a strain relief shall withstand without damage to the cord or conductors and without displacement, a direct pull of 2 times the weight of the DUT but no greater than 156 N (35 lbf), applied to the cord for 1 min. Supply connections within the equipment are to be disconnected from terminals or splices during the test when applicable.
