Packaging Merchandise
•All fragile and breakable items must be packaged with sufficient packing materials to protect merchandise from breakage. Do not use Packing Peanuts or other loose fill material within your master shipping carton. Consider environmental impacts when selecting packing materials.
•Inner-packs (a designated quantity of the same Prod-ID/LLB SKU - item, color, size) packed in sealed polybags or smaller boxes within a Master Shipping Carton are acceptable. Example: Inner-pack of 12 units. 12 Inner-packs per Master Carton = 144 units per Master Shipping Carton.
Inner packs must be marked with the unit quantity.
•Do not mix Purchase Orders within a carton. One PO per carton.
•Do not mix food product with non-food product. Food product must be packed separately in its own master shipping carton.
•Do not mix scented items such as soaps, candles, cedar, animal lures, etc. Scented items must be packed separately in their own master shipping cartons.
•Merchandise with a "Best By" or "Expiration" date must be segregated by item in its own carton. Do not mix different expiration dates within the same master shipping carton. Each item's carton to have a shipping label displayed the expiration date (MM/DD/YYYY) and shelf life information (in months).
