Fig. 1a shows the sAuNRs synthesized by the one-pot seedless method. A high yield of sAuNRs with few byproducts can be observed from the TEM image revealing several hundred rods with
good dispersibility. The sAuNRs have typical dimensions of 30 ± 5 nm)
(7 ± 1 nm) for an aspect ratio of ~4.1. The LSPR band peaks at about 800 nm as shown in Fig. 1b. The results suggest an efficient technique to prepare sAuNRs with a high yield and good dispersibility.
