The construct Internet banking adoption is based on reports on the emerging implementation of six applications, and it measures the degree of sophistication in the Internet banking offered to customers. This is in principle close to the innovation construct used by Han etal. (1998).It should be noted that several measures were purified after the collection of data. One of the originally formulated items on willingness to cannibalize is deleted in the reported LISREL analysis (see the Appendix). Furthermore, the ordinal scales were often simplified to give the variables properties suited for the analysis.
