Table 5 further shows that 24.3% of the organisations allowed business activities to beconducted through the Internet and use the Internet as part of their strategy to develop Emarkets.This is followed by 19.8% of the sample who claimed to be using Emailcommunication in their operations but did not have website. Furthermore, 16.8% of the firmshave a static website that only provides information about products or services without anyinteractivity. 6.4% of firms provided online buying and E-payment. Also it was notable thatthere were not any companies without online capabilities (i.e. Internet access or Email).
