Frozen Turkey (non-deformable), a CT scan was
first performed and exported to a treatment
planning system as the planning CT.
1st isocenter adjacent to the spine to mimic a
paraspinal Tx.
2nd isocenter in the left (turkey) breast to mimic a
breast Tx.
In the Catalyst system, the contour of the frozen
turkey surface obtained from the reference CT was
used as the setup reference image.
The frozen turkey was setup to both isocenters
using cPositioning followed by CBCT to check the
accuracy of the surface mapping.
These setup procedures were repeated when the
turkey was unfrozen (deformable) to check the
accuracy of the deformable registration.
