Cells were treated with 6 M sodium selenite for the indicatedtimes (A–C), or pretreated with NAC (10 mM) 2 h prior to 6 M sodium selenite (SS) treatment (D), and then collected. The nuclear, cytosolic, or total proteins were extracted,and separated on SDS-polyacrylamide gels, followed by Western blotting using anti-p-Nrf2, anti-Nrf2 and ant-HO-1 antibodies and an ECL detection system. Lamin B and actin were used as internal controls.
