RBM is a management approach that prioritizes, puts into practice, and adjusts management tasks to preserve ecosystems and human wellbeing in light of known present-day and potential future factors affecting ecosystem function . The main goal of RBM is to prioritize management actions that increase an ecosystem’s capacity to withstand shocks so that it can maintain its structure and functions in the face of disruption and unanticipated effects . RBM is being practiced in different reef ecosystems such Great Barrier Reef of Australia, and the Guam Coral Reef Resilience Strategy (GRRS, 2018).
