.On a hill far away sits (坐落着) Muddled-up Farm. But when tourists arrived, it lost its charm (魅力). The animals had to keep talking day after day. Their throats grew red and sore.
.Life on the farm wasn’t fun anymore (不再). Then the owl (猫头鹰) called (召集) a meeting to put things right.
.From the very next morning, no one would speak.
The tourists complained: “Pigs and turkeys should not be quiet.” So the farmer sent for (派人叫来) a famous vet.
.“Start talking at once (马上)!” the vet ordered (命令) the cow. But the cow just walked away.
.The vet was silent too. The tourists stopped visiting the farm. And once again you can see the charm of that wonderful place called Muddled-up Farm.
