Thank you for your reply and your support.
I know that Victor is a good boy and that he simply made a mistake, and I know that he will not do this kind of thing again. As an experienced educator and a parent, I realize that all young people make mistakes and learn from them. What we can do as parents and teachers is to encourage our children and students to move on in a positive way and to use the inappropriate behaviour as a lesson.
Unfortunately, Victor will receive the penalty of getting zero on the paper that he copied, and he will have to do another paper. After he completes this assignment, that will be the end of the issue. There will be no further consequences. Although the School notes the incident on a file for its records, it does not release that information to universities. Therefore, you should not worry since the incident will not affect Victor's university application.
I hope this explanation provides you a better understanding of the consequences of the incident.
Kind regards,
