Research on this topic both domestically and externally, both theoretically and
practically, gracious achievements have been made, however, how to applied Differentiating
Instruction into senior high school English teaching is a research area which achieves less
attention, the relative practices educational fruits are in a limited number. What is more, there
is no practical operation system which is generally accepted. The author put forward the
theme of “Differentiating Instruction in English Teaching in Senior High School” based on
the above-mentioned research results by domestic and foreign scholars, attempting to start
from individual differences to explore some theoretical and practical problems in regular
