Parameter estimates and their cluster-robust standard errors obtained from TPM and LCM are reported in Table 4. They show that individual parameters are precisely determined, in general. The coefficients on most variables have the expected signs and significance. As has been often reported, in the TPM, coinsurance, LC, is highly significant in the first part, while its influence is diminished in the second part. Coinsurance is significant in the first component and insignificant in the second component of the LCM. The probabilities of being in the low-use (healthy) class are 0.78 and 0.80 for the two measures of use. Consequently, 20–22% of individuals are in the high-use (ill) class.
