The protocol for the evaluation followed, for each individual, is described below:1. Place the patient in the supine position, with the compromised limb in light shoulder abduction and the forearm and wrist in a neutral position.2. Evaluate the patient using the MAS.3. Prepare the skin and position the EMG electrodes on the biceps following the surface electromyography for the non-invasive assessment of muscles (SENIAM) protocol .The reference electrode was placed in the lateral malleolus of the compromised member, so as not to interfere with the acquisition.4. Set up the software for the acquisition.5. Instruct the participants to remain with the member to be evaluated relaxed during the entire procedure.6. Place the EMG electrodes upon the biceps muscle and place the goniometer at the elbow joint.7. Acquire the baseline signal (patient at rest).8. Perform extension (stretching) movements and forearm flexion. Execute thirty stretches per session.
