Chemical additive in food is a kind of food additive, which is synthesized by chemical method. Food additive is an important raw material for food, they are important to improve the quality of food and color, enhance the grade of food and nutritional value, as well as anti-corrosion play a positive role. Generally speaking, according to the food safety regulations correctly and reasonably use of food additives and will not cause great harm to the human body, but in recent years, many businesses for the sake of the interests of the illegal use and abuse of additives, triggered a series of food safety issues, so that consumers talk about color agent". It is urgent to study the harm and detection methods of these chemical additives and to monitor food safety.
