Subjects
Between February and September 2014, 19 patients (7 females;
mean age: 67 years; range: 47–81 years) with a symptomatic
MCA stenosis underwent 3T imaging at a median time of

range: 6–72 days; chronic patients [n=15] range: 145–2740).
Of these 19 patients, 2 had had a transient ischemic attack and

that hampered image analysis were observed. Patient demo-
92 days after symptom onset (acute/subacute patients [n=4]
