Battle of Hogwarts, +5 years.
Harry Potter was enjoying life very much.
It had been five years since the Battle of Hogwarts, as it was now known, and Harry was the most famous magical being in history. But for once, he had managed to convince the world that he wanted as much privacy as the average witch or wizard; coupled with Dean Thomas' new job as a more discreet editor of The Daily Prophet, Harry was enjoying a life of relative normalcy.
He was the youngest wizard to be appointed to the auror corps, his examinations overseen by Professor Tofty, the same man who had given him his marks on his Defense Against the Dark Arts OWLs. Kingsley had tried to give Harry an immediate promotion to Head of the Auror Office, but Harry declined, choosing instead to move more slowly up the ranks.
Still, it had only taken him four years until he was Head anyway.
