• Batch (Run) refers to a set of calibration standards, quality control (QC) samples, zero-level standards, matrix blanks and samples analyzed according to an analytical method. Several batches may be analyzed in a single day. Intra-batch refers to any calculations made within a single batch (e.g., intra-batch % accuracy) while inter-batch refers to calculations made across multiple batches (e.g., inter-batch % accuracy).
