Thank you for your cooperation on Sony procurement activities as always.



Sony Corporation, as the US security Exchange listed company, is responsible to file a report to the SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission) corresponding to the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act Section 1502 issued in January 2013. In light of such legal compliance, Sony has conducted the survey for the status of the use of four minerals (Tantalum, Tin, Gold, and Tungsten) in our products during CY2014.



Regrettably, we did not receive any response from your company despite our repeated requests, based on our survey results for CY2014. We strongly request for your cooperation towards the survey that will take place for

CY2015 and respond to our request. Please accept our apology if there is any misunderstanding on the issue as we have not received any response from your company during CY2014 survey period according to our record.
