Curious people like to challenge various ideas, beliefs, and statements. This
leads to finding reasons, purposes, and consequences that might otherwise have
been overlooked. The challenge also may lead to partially developed ideas that
can be pursued to produce additional valuable insights.
Creative thinking can be the basis for constructive discontent, causing
individuals to look for better, more thorough solutions. Though present results
are acceptable, advanced approaches can be more effective and satisfying.
With a belief that most problems can be solved, the creative thinker does not
stop with the current situation. He or she is willing to try another angle or ask a
different question in pursuit of answers. What are the relationships of one aspect
to another? What happens when a relationship is changed? Creative thinking
allows individuals to suspend judgment and criticism and observe the entire
situation with calm evaluation. There is no need to jump to conclusions when
you know God is fully in control of whatever is taking place.
