On the afternoon of 30 May 2015, I was trekking in the hills of southwestern Sichuan when I was suddenly struck by a still pool, in which numerous termites were floating. All were dead, totally different from images in my past works ,but so fascinating. Put down my backpacks and took out my Canon EOS 7D and EF 100mm f/2.8L IS USM, I spent the left time of that day there, totally absorbed in such inexpressibly beauty, shooting from all possible camera angles.
Such is life, as Tagore says, be beautiful like summer flowers and death like autumn leaves .
