In summary,we have demonstrated an
unprecedented approach to construct a
unique supramolecular helix-in-helix
structure through encapsulation of
optically active helical
peptides bearing a C60
moiety at one end within the helical st
PMMA cavity as a result of a molecular
carrier (or anchor) effect
driven by a strong interaction between the
terminal C60 moiety and the hydrophobic
st-PMMAhelicalcavity.This
encapsulationprocessisaccompanied
bythepreferredhandedhelixformation
ofthest-PMMAbackboneinducedby
thehelicalchiralityoftheencapsulated
peptides.Thesefindingswillprovidea
rationaldesignstrategynotonlyfor
