I bought this on Amazon for $8.99 as a case for my first-ever tablet, the ASUS MeMO ME176CX. After using an iPod iTouch for WiFi email, calendar, internet and music, I didn't like the size of the tablet at first ... holding it in your hand for long periods of time would get tiresome. This ProCase solves that problem because you have 2 easier options: hold it with your hand in the strap on the back of the case, which is easier on your fingers, or fold the case back into a little stand. This works for setting it on a table top.
Folding the case into a stand isn't perfect. If you tuck in into the back flap too far, the tablet will fall backward. Tuck it in not far enough, it will fall forward. Even when you get it in the sweet spot where it stands up by itself, you will probably want to steady the tablet with one hand while you use the touch screen so you don't push it over. Maybe when the faux-leather folds are broken in a bit, it will stand more securely.
But I still think this is a good solution. I have it set up on my desk next to my computer right now, and I can just reach over and tap the screen with a finger, even without steadying it with my free hand, and it's not tipping over. An even better method is to use the combination pen/stylus that comes with the case. A very light touch by the stylus end of the pen works better than your finger.
The included stylus/pen is a big plus at this price, because I'm finding I use it instead of my fingers almost all the time. Having a little stretchy loop in which to store the stylus on the case is another plus, but it's not perfect, either. When the stylus/pen is in its loop, it sort of blocks easy access to the power/hibernate button. You can still push it, but you have to maneuver around the stylus.
