a) We are starting to work based on the various “inofficial” drawings received from you, however need urgently a confirmed information about the specified minimum creepage path length (in mm) for tunnel OCR insulators and outside OCS insulators. Also on any exceptions regarding such minimum creepage distance permitted under this tender specification or any other possibly applicable TRA or RRB regulations. This detail is important to arrive at an economical and still technically permitted solution of OCR support in tunnel and eventually OCS supports at tight areas.
b) We try to finish such typical cross sections until this September 30 (assuming to receive the applicable creepage path data today);
c) For a comprehensive technical documentation/proposal however we need a complete overview of all critical areas which need to be electrified. In that respect we reiterate our request for a comprehensive and complete catalogue of relevant drawings, covering all areas to be electrified. Files names should carry English names and the chainage-km, so we can handle the files properly, even if the file content is not translated word by word.
d) please also clearly indicate in the drawings, that show already OCS design, whether such OCS designs shows already existing OCS (e.g. at both ends of the line) , or a proposed design by client and whether such design is binding or not for the contractor; then please also advise on location of eventually existing new OCS structures (e.g. foundations) to be used for the OCS design.
e) there are numerous further technical and other submissions expected by Sept. 30, e.g. construction and installation concepts for each section, description of design, manufacture, inspection, test, and supply ability of equipments materials System Maintenance and Management Concept, Full Life Cycle Cost Analysis – which we could only address sketchy at this early point of time. Of course we are ready to step into detailed discussions with your engineers to establish the mentioned documents/procedures.
