The study conducted by Javaheri et al. in Iran showed that cognitive–behavioral stress management improved quality of life in women with temporal lobe epilepsy. Given that psychological considerations could significantly increase quality of life in patients with epilepsy through improving patients' physical, mental, and social conditions, a part of the training program in the present study was about lifestyle self-management, including stress management.
