In the process of designing patterns, I define the concept “Modes of Narrative Representation”,as being the possibilities of creating narratives in terms of the relations between the narrative elements and the visual representation of motives as blocks in a structure of repetition, determined by the pattern`s dimensions, colors and their textile applications.
