The single layer scaffold is constructed with steel tubes and connected with couplers or pipe joints to fix their position. Steel tubes are placed inside the sockets which are welded on the angle bar extended from the secondary beam. The first step is to place the vertical members into the sockets. The distance between 2 vertical steel tubes should be around 750mm. Next step is to connect the vertical members with horizontal members by couplers. The distance between 2 horizontal steel tubes should between 600mm-700mm. Bracing for the single layer scaffold should be installed after. The horizontal span of each bracing should not be greater than 5m.
