the oxide layer. No additional conclusive results could be obtained since the thermal fatigue observed
was similar.
The additional trials where the temperature was followed showed that the HTRC cooling efficiency is
higher than the current cooling with classical nozzles if the entry cooling is maintained. The entry
cooling has a bigger impact on the temperature of the rolls. The trials also showed that a higher
temperature was obtained when only exit HTRC cooling was used, which can explain the fact that a
