I was there, I remember the very first day arriving at Sydney University and I walked down this long dark corridor wondering what I was doing there, and having all these selfdoubts. Here was I, a 21-year-old, well older actually, 30-year-old Black fella walking down in Sydney University, and like, I hadn’t been to university, I had no education what so ever, and it was scary, I can tell you, a really scary, scary business.
