根據OCED發布最新的報告，報告預測2060年全球的塑膠消費量將增長三倍。而且報告指出，從2019年的4.6億公噸，暴增至2060年的12.31公噸，這些塑膠製製品多半會被送到垃圾掩埋場。塑膠演變成環境汙染的原因在於它幾乎無法完全被分解，而且會隨著陽光長期照射，脆化、分解、破碎成更小的碎片或顆粒，形成塑膠微粒。由於塑膠微粒的尺寸小、重量輕，透過大氣可以使它的傳播距離更遙遠，不僅漂浮在我們呼吸的空氣中，甚至可以進入並積聚在我們的器官、組織、血液中。塑膠污染的問題應該被大家注重，下面我提出三個塑膠污染的結果。

The reason why plastic has evolved into environmental pollution is that it is almost impossible to completely decompose, and with long-term exposure to sunlight, it will become brittle, decomposed, and broken into smaller fragments or particles, forming plastic particles. Due to the small size and light weight of plastic particles, they can travel farther through the atmosphere. They not only float in the air we breathe, but can even enter and accumulate in our organs, tissues, and blood. The issue of plastic pollution should be paid attention to by everyone.
