Elsa's face fell slightly as remorse tugged at her insides. She opened her mouth to apologise, but Anna beat her to it. "I'm sorry for being stupid," the younger girl said, lazily patting Elsa's arm. "I was rude." She put an unnecessary amount of emphasis on the last word, and Elsa would have found it charming had she not felt so guilty.She pushed Anna's bangs back with one hand, keeping the other clutched tightly around her sister's. "Don't worry about it, Anna," she murmured. "It doesn't matter."But the younger girl wasn't deterred. "No," she drawled. "It does matter. I want to explain." She shifted slightly, trying to sit up, huffing when it became too difficult, locking eyes with Elsa again. "I said I wanted you to be happy, and I really meant it, you know?
